The Lee Commons welcomes you.
We’ve adapted one of Saginaw’s most iconic homes into a multi-functional community space for small businesses, non-profit organizations, community groups, and residents.
THE LEE COMMONS
A community meeting space
A pop-up locale
A welcome center and shop for Saginaw
What is the Lee Commons? This video covers the entire project, from the construction of the Lee Mansion in 1888, to our current crowdfunding campaign today. We are so grateful for our partnerships with the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy and Saginaw Community Foundation. Thank you to the City of Saginaw Government and Ann Arbor Builders, Inc. for getting this project off the ground; to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for their faith in this project, and to Patronicity for the vital work they do through the Public Spaces Community Places program; to the staff at the Public Libraries of Saginaw and the Historical Society of Saginaw County for helping us unlock the mysteries of this home; to the Saginaw DDA and Riverfront Saginaw for their support; to the volunteers who made all of this possible. It takes a village, and we are so proud to be a part of this community.
