Financial Summary
We shared a toast on December 31st, 2019, at the end of a successful crowdfunding campaign. By the end of March in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic had brought everything to a halt. After many confusing months, progress slowly began again at the Lee. Today, we are within striking distance of completing the house. We are where we are today because of the incredible devotion of a small army of volunteers. Socially distanced work days were coordinated, refinishing floors, doors, and existing woodwork, installing new flooring in badly damaged areas, and handling a number of odd jobs around the house.
What did the crowdfunding campaign pay for?
Complete rebuild of the front porch roof
Priming of exterior wood details
Painting of all common spaces
HVAC partial rough-in
Full electrical installation
Hardware replacement based on existing
Hallway light fixtures
Full plumbing and renovation of both bathrooms

Full renovation of side porch entry
Complete restoration of the recovered stained glass
Reconstruction of staircase handrail and spindles
Solar light installation in the driveway lamp
All fireplaces rebuilt as needed
Rear dormer window rebuilt

What’s left?
Though the house is currently functional, there are a number of things that still need to be addressed. Below are the existing costs we are facing for the completion of the Lee Commons.
